Teagan showed me this little trick on how to customize the way PDF files are opended from a website link. Sometimes when I open PDF files they are at a 200% zoom (way too large) and so this resolves that issue nicely.  You may also want to open directly to a certain page...

This morning I was looking for a quick and dirty way to turn maintenance mode on in WordPress. I normally do this using a .htaccess file but but that required more time then I had. I found a quicker way to do it...

Create a file called .maintenance and copy the line below into it and ftp upload to your wordpress root folder:
<?php $upgrading = time(); ?>

If you are running the shopping cart software ZenCart your site may be at risk. Ask your web developer to patch your site ASAP. Ask your web developer if they can hide your admin folder by renaming it to something less guessable as a security precaution.
