Who We Are

John Simmons, a principal at JC Simmons & Associates, founded two companies and co-founded another over the past 20 years. Each of these companies grew from concept stage and ultimately, each conducted initial public offerings, a variety of secondary financings and each was listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Through these experiences, John gained a sound understanding of corporate finance.

Melissa Sands, an Associate, is an investment analyst with 15 years experience as a Chartered Accountant. During her years in public practice, she learned much about the challenges facing small, rapidly growing businesses and how to minimize the risk associated with meeting these challenges.
