Peter Hicks

Peter Hicks is a professional motivational and inspirational speaker from Victoria BC with a real life personal story that is motivating and inspiring readers.

Peter has experienced four operations for a re-occurring benign brain tumor which resulted in the loss of speech, normal mobility, and vision difficulties. He has overcome these challenges with courage and a Positive Attitude.

He holds a degree in Psychology as well as a commercial license to fly Helicopters.

Peter's sense of humour and his love of people from all walks of life makes him an outstanding Professional Speaker.

Peter walks with the assistance of a cane, his speech is improving each and every day. He works out at the local fitness centre with total conviction.

For over 20 years he worked with inmates in Canadian Correctional Institutions to help them deal with anger management, self improvement and goal setting.
He is a past member of the 'Guelph Rotary Club' in Ontario, Canada.

Peter is currently on the 'Board of Directors' with two Victoria, British Columbia based charities(victoriasailingfoundation.ca & powertobe.ca) working with youth and persons with physical challenges.

He has been a keynote speaker at many community events, as well Peter has spoken for various organizations and corporations.
