Home to over 240 British Columbian Artists and Artisans. Side Street Studio has been known as a great place for gifts and works of art for over 23 years. Our artwork is representative of the enormous amount of talent in the region and across the province. All of our artist's work is 'one of a kind' and unrivaled.

Side Street Studio in Oak Bay Village, Victoria has been selling the work of artists from British Columbia for just over 23 years.

Side Street Studio is family owned and has the support of three highly trained and helpful staff. Susan & Nigel Hayes own the stdio and have a commitment to providing a showcase for the best art that B.C. can offer. Susan has an extensive background in senior retail management working for companies such as the Burton Group and Alfred Dunhill Far East ltd. while Nigels expereince has been in marketing for companies such as Max Factor and Citibank.

Our staff all have experience of Canadian art. Bonnie Bailey managed the retail arm of one of Winnipegs largest pottery co-operatives for many years. Karen McCaig started and owned and successful pottery retail business on Vancouver Island for 6 years and Shirley McMahon is an accomplished artist who studied at Vancouver school of art (now Emily Carr) and has had numerous shows and exhibitions of her work in B.C.

All of us are passionate about the artwork that exists in abundance in British Columbia. We are also passionate in ensuring that we offer our customers the very best in service.
